GG Allin Website Redesigned

Posted on May 7, 2004

Welcome to the redesigned ggallin.com.

We got a complete overhaul recently because we really needed it. The old site was too clunkly, slow and just too hard to update.

The most immediate changes to the site are a newly organized merch section, as well as a cleaned up photo gallery and GG artwork section.

I'm aware that we're a bit low on content. I can assure you that in the coming weeks, there will be a few additions to the site including a GG Discography, more photos, and I have started the process of scanning all of my GG stuff. So we will also have a growing section of news articles, interviews and other GG Allin nostalgia.

In the meantime, see below for some previous news items including the list of confirmed Murder Junkies Spring Tour dates, news on some new GG DVD's and other stuff.

DVD's and Murder Junkies June 2004 Tour!

Posted on April 19th, 2004

First: All of Merle's GG Videos are now available on DVD. When ordering, be sure to say that you want a DVD instead of a video.

Second: We are about a week away from the new site. If you have any pictures, photos or stories that you would like to contribute, you can contact me here.

Finally, pay tribute to the 11 Year Anniversary of GG's Death by checking out the Murder Junkies on tour in June.

A Bunch of Info

Posted on March 17th, 2004

A bit a bit of news for you GG worshippers out there:

First: From time to time, Merle has some computer problems. If you get an email bounced from his address, or if you don't get a reply there is a good chance that Merle's computer is on the fritz again. While you can still send an email, the best way to always contact Merle is at his mailing address:

MERLE ALLIN
181 RIVER RD. BUILDING 2
APARTMENT 4D
NUTLEY, NJ 07110
(973) 661-1870

Keep phone calls during normal hours, thanks.

Second: Coming out in late Summer/Fall '04 will be a GG Allin 10th Year Anniversary DVD. It will be out on "Music Video Distributor" (The same folks who put out the Hated DVD).

Third: Also from Music Video Distributors will be a GG Allin & The Murder Junkies "Best of 1991" DVD. Strong rumor has it that this video will include a 1/2 hour interview with GG's mother!

Fourth: A GG CD Compilation will be out in late Summer/Fall as well. Making this CD unique is a ton of rare GG songs that were previously unreleased or extremely rare tracks. It will include tracks from Malpractice, Stripsearch and the Jabbers as well as the ultra-rare 3-Song GG & The Aids Brigade single.

Fifth, The Murder Junkies will be hitting the road again in June. They will be heading out for about 2 weeks and touring the mid-west and east coast, planning on returning home on the 28th. If you can help with any shows, contact Merle via email or the above address. Check back here for dates as they are confirmed.

Finally, thanks to everyone for their offers of help with the website. I'm happy to say that I finally narrowed down a new design and will be bringing it online in the next few weeks. However, I am accepting any submissions you may be able to offer in the form of photos, memories or anything else you may be able to contribute. For the time being, I can be contacted here.
