Merle decided it would be a good idea to let some of the fans contribute to the next GG Allin DVD! So if you think your artwork is good enough to be the cover of the next GG Allin DVD, then read on!

MVD Visual is releasing a “special edition” of GG ALLIN AND THE MURDER JUNKIES’ “Hated” DVD and is asking for GG Allin fans to contribute. Create a DVD cover, using whatever medium you prefer, and submit your design by midnight on February 28, 2007. Entries will be judged by Merle Allin, MVD Visual, and director Todd Phillips.

The winner will:

  • Have his/her design used for the front cover art on the new “Hated” DVD (coming summer 2007)
  • Receive $250
  • Have his/her cover art design credited on the DVD and web site

The played 17 shows through Germany, Holland and Austria. The band had
a great time and saw lots of old friends as well as many new ones. Special thanks go out to “Good Witch of the South” and “Drive by Shooting” for
being such cool guys and for being great bands.

The band will be doing a couple of shows with CKY in December and also playing a few of their own shows. Check out the link for the winter show dates.

As we mentioned previously, there are some new GG Allin DVD’s being released by Music Video Distributors.

Coming in early June will be “GG Allin & The Murder Junkies, Raw, Brutal, Rough & Bloody: The Best of 1991″.

This DVD will feature 3 complete shows: San Diego 9/27/91, Chicago 10/10/91, and Atlanta 11/20/91.

Even bigger news about this DVD is that it includes the first interview ever with GG and Merle’s mom.
